Welcome to

Domaine Gilg
in Mittelbergheim

Our family estate has been established since the beginning of the 16th century in Mittelbergheim. The little village, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”, is located on the Wine Road in the heart of Alsace.

As independent winemakers, we cultivate our terroirs in a sustainable way and vinify our wines with the highest standards of quality, typicity and regularity.

Our estate is certified in Organic Agriculture since the 2021 harvest.

Inside our 16th century cellars, we elaborate the whole traditional range of Alsace wines, Crémants d’Alsace, as well as our prestigious Grands Crus Zotzenberg and Moenchberg.

Our wines

Our production is shared between the 7 traditional Alsatian grape varieties. We also grow Klevener de Heiligenstein (Savagnin Rose) and Chardonnay (only used to make Crémant d’Alsace). We also have 5 hectares located in Grand Cru Zotzenberg in Mittelbergheim and 1 hectare in Grand Cru Moenchberg in Andlau and Eichhoffen.
